Christianity...

Hi everyone, it’s me again! For this blog, I just thought I'd share with everyone why Christianity and my relationship with Jesus is so important to me:).

Being a Christian as a teenager can feel like swimming upstream. There’s always a lot of pressure to fit in, make certain choices, and live a certain way. But for me, choosing to follow Jesus isn’t just about following rules or being different; it’s about living a life filled with purpose, kindness, and hope.

One of the biggest reasons I find comfort in Christianity is because it gives me a foundation when things are tough. High school and the teenage years are full of questions and challenges—figuring out who you are, dealing with friendship drama, or even handling stress about the future. When I feel lost, my faith reminds me I’m not alone, and I don’t have to carry everything on my own. It’s like having an anchor in the middle of a storm.

I also feel like my faith teaches me to see people through a different lens. When Jesus says to love others as yourself, it’s more than just a phrase. It challenges me to be patient, empathetic, and forgiving, even when I don’t feel like it. This doesn’t mean I always succeed—far from it—but it gives me a goal to work towards.

Christianity, for me, is about building a personal relationship with God, understanding His love, and letting that love shape how I see the world and treat others. It might not always be the “popular” choice, but it feels like the right one for me. And in a world, that’s constantly changing, having that faith and purpose feels like something steady to hold onto.

With that being said, I'll see y'all next time<3
